Description: |
Small insectivorous plant that can grow until 10 cm, fleshy leaves with
involute edges. Its flower is purple. |

Ecology: |
It can be found between 700 and 2400 meters, on dripping rocks. It lives
on grounds poor of nitrogen and supplements its nourishing catching
small insects with its viscous leaves. |

Flowering: |
It blooms from May to June and the flower lasts about a week |

Interest: |
It is an unusual species according to Red List of Italian Plants;
endemic of Majella and very similar to the Balkan Pinguicola |

Presence In the Park: |
It grows in very few locations of Majella. |
