Qualità Project
Il The “Quality Project” arises from the awareness that we need to
assign a value to the activities in protected areas, higher than the
market one. It is needed to regard these activities not only as an
economic income – the market value – but also as an environmental
return, useful for human health and the Park reputation. Since its
foundation, Majella National Park carried out, within the Triennial Plan
(1991-1993), several projects fitted with the territory and committed to
the spreading of a new rural culture and giving farmers and breeders the
role of "Park Keepers".
In short:
- Represents the natural evolution of the Park upgrading and promotion
policies;
- The Park is concerned about the agricultural production and its
relevance for the management of protected areas ;
- The Park grants the requests of consumers associations and the needs
of environmental safeguard;
- Ensures the preservation of territorial resources, effectively
contrasting the extinction of the species through researches, genetic
analysis and reproductions;
- The Park provides a remarkable support in the territory, for a
modern environmental education;
- The Park receives the current normative modifications, in particular
