Family: Gentianaceae

Scientific name: Gentiana dinarica Beck

Description: Herbaceous perennial plant growing up to 5-8- cm, with leaves grouped at the base and straight floral scapes. Flowers (3-4 cm) are blue-purplish with darkest spots. It grows in rocky pastures at high altitudes.  

Distribution: Mountains of southern and eastern Europe.

Notes: Species protected by the regional law 11.9.1979 n. 45.
