Family: Primulaceae

Scientific name: Androsace villosa L. subsp. villosa

Description: It is a plant that can grow up to 2-3 cm, with basal branched woody stems that form a thick bush. Its flowers are white and rosy in the middle of the petals. It blooms between June and July beyond 2000 m a.s.l in the rocky grasslands of the high altitudes.

Distribution: Spread within European and Asian mountains and common in the central Apennines.
