The Visitor Centre, created to support the “Daniela Brescia” Botanical Garden of Sant’Eufemia a Majella (PE), is a multifunctional structure which especially attends to the ex situ conservation of the flora which grows in the Park and in the central Apennine, by the cultivation in the garden and the scientific research. It is also the headquarters of the Herbarium of the Majella National Park with, at the moment, more than 1000 vegetable samples from the protected area and from the Abruzzi in general, which scholars, researchers and students can consult. The Centre also attends to popularization and didactics, organizing guided tours to the garden and educational tours for schools.

A large equipped lecture hall in it represents a support for these activities. The Centre is also an ideal starting-point for excursions to the Lama Bianca beech wood, where the paths are accessible to disabled. At the information point of the Centre you can find more information about the hiking paths.
